About You

  • You have full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and for Clinical Psychologist with full Clinical Psychology endorsement or eligibility to progress to Clinical Psychology endorsement with AHPRA. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
  • You possess experience in providing evidence based psychological therapies relevant to end of life presentations, in a variety of modalities (virtual, clinic, home and group)- including but not limited to behaviour therapies, cognitive behavioural therapies, dialectical behaviour therapy, individual psychotherapy, family therapy and group therapy.
  • You have the ability to provide capacity building initiatives to the multidisciplinary team relating to quality and safe psychological management of our patients.

Where you'll be working

The position of Clinical Psychologist/ Registered Psychologist is part of a community-based multidisciplinary team supporting patients in the End of Life phase of care.
 
The role is to provide specialised high quality, patient/consumer-focused, evidence-based psychological assessments, interventions and consultations with patients in their homes, clinics and virtually.
 
The clinical duties are performed across multiple sites within CCLHD.
