  1. Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience as a minimum Occupational Therapist Level 2.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously applying professional judgement to conduct specialist paediatric occupational therapy assessments, plan, implement and evaluate interventions for preschool aged children presenting with complex health, developmental and social needs, including the impact of trauma.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with families and provide trauma-informed care for children from vulnerable families and priority population groups. Ability to engage effectively with families and service providers to provide information, guidance and education about children’s needs to promote optimal child development.
  4. Demonstrated high level computer literacy and ability to use health information, telehealth and Microsoft systems. Hold a current unrestricted NSW driver’s licence (P2 licence acceptable) and willingness to travel to community health and early childhood education centres - for work within the scope of the role.
