Administrative Coordinator/Officer - Department of General Medicine, The Children's Hospital Westmead
- Demonstrated Administration experience with sound office management and coordination skills.
- Leadership skills and an ability to work as part of a team including the ability to supervise others and work under limited direction and guidance with regard to work priorities.
- Experience in the Health environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Medical terminology audio transcription (Dictaphone typing) and hospital computer applications
- Demonstrated excellent communication and office management skills with negotiation skills and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience of purchasing and invoicing and desirable knowledge of Health Roster and Payroll services
- Ability to prioritise, and delegate work to subordinates where appropriate
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, to have flexibility and initiative and work to deadlines.
