Selection Criteria:
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent authorised under section 14 of the Anti-discrimination Act (NSW) 1977
- Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience in health management
- Proven working knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, social and emotional health and welfare issues and how these impact on the community
- Demonstrated effective experience working with Aboriginal People, their communities and support organisations
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to implement programs and initiatives and provision of support to the Aboriginal Mental Health workforce
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and partnering with a diverse range of health, Aboriginal organisations and social services to meet the needs of Aboriginal people with mental health or social and emotional problems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise workloads, and to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
