We are looking for someone who can:
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of Aboriginal specific projects and initiatives that improve the provision of health service delivery, for Aboriginal people, with key stakeholders and ensure high levels of work performance and completion of projects within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with LHD/SHN clinicians and managers, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOS), Primary Health Networks (PHNs), and other key stakeholders to build a capacity which will deliver efficient and effective chronic disease management services to Aboriginal people and communities.
- Provide timely, high level advice and support to the Associate Director, Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, on the development, implementation, management and reporting of related projects to ensure senior staff are fully briefed on the status of ACCN projects.

What you will be doing
The ACCN Manager will manage, promote and implement strategic change management initiatives that will improve the level and quality of health services for Aboriginal people across NSW.
This role will also provide high level policy advice and executive support functions to senior committees and taskforces. The role will work collaboratively with managers, clinicians, health workers and consumers throughout ACI Networks, LHDs/SHNs, ACCHOS, PHN and other key partners within Aboriginal Health.
This position will undertake the full role of project management activities including project planning, stakeholder negotiation, and milestone reporting.
The position will provide high level advice on the development and implementation of improvement initiatives for Aboriginal people, families and communities.

Employment Type: Full Time Exempt (up to November 2025)
Position Classification: Health Manager Level 4
Remuneration: $137,173.00 - $168,431.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
Hours Per Week: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection Criteria / Questions
- Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such under section 14 (d) of the NSW Antidiscrimination Act (1977), with knowledge and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrate experience working with Aboriginal people, families and communities; and also in understanding Aboriginal health programs and initiatives relating to health disparities in both Aboriginal and mainstream services/programs; and sound knowledge of the structure and processes of government and understanding of NSW healthcare systems.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to provide leadership in the implementation of state-wide projects, frameworks and/or initiatives.
