Join our team as a Wardsperson at Glen Innes Hospital, where you’ll play an important role in supporting clinical staff and contributing to the delivery of quality healthcare for patients and the local community.
About the Role
As a Wardsperson, you’ll work under the direction of clinical staff to assist with the day-to-day care and support of patients. You’ll also undertake cleaning duties and help maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment across the facility.

The role involves working standard shift arrangements, which may include day and night shifts. While there will be times when you work independently, you’ll be supported by a friendly multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to work alongside both clinical and non-clinical staff.
You’ll receive a comprehensive orientation and learn on the job, with ongoing support from your manager and Facility Manager. Daily ward huddles, communication with the wider team and practical learning will help you build your understanding and confidence in the role.

Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work.
Additional Information:
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
