Join Our Team as a Ward Clerk – Intensive Care

Step into a pivotal role where your organisational skills and attention to detail make a real difference in patient care. As the Ward Clerk – Intensive Care Unit, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the ICU operates seamlessly every day. Often the first point of contact for staff, patients, and families, you’ll play a key role in supporting clinical teams through efficient, professional administration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic patient records and essential documentation.
  • Supporting ICU staff with administrative processes to keep the unit running smoothly.
  • Coordinating correspondence, filing, and other clerical duties with precision.
  • Assisting with ordering, invoicing, and general office tasks to support team operations.


This permanent part-time role (8 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work closely with nursing, medical, and administrative teams, requiring someone confident in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
