Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Ophthalmology! The primary purpose of the role of Visiting Medical Officer in Ophthalmology is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Ophthalmology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Ophthalmology Department and Hospital as required.
The Visiting Medical Officer will provide Medical Retina expertise in an outpatient setting, as well as attend cataract surgery operating theatre sessions.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
