What you'll be doing

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide effective obstetric and gynaecological services to women under supervision, while developing expertise in managing these women in a complex clinical environment.

To provide patient care in the clinical specialty of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Duties involve antenatal and gynaecology clinics, ward duties, caesarean section lists working with accredited O&G medical officers.

This position is based at Campbelltown Hospital.  

Qualifications

MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia

Minimum 2 years post graduate experience with reasonable recent experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Preparedness and ability to work independently or in a supervised environment

Demonstrated teamwork and time management skills

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated problem solving skills in the clinical setting

Prepared to participate in after-hours roster as requested.

  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  2. At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent)
  3. Preparedness and ability to work independently or in a supervised environment
  4. Demonstrated teamwork and time management skills
  5. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Demonstrated problem solving skills in the clinical setting
  7. Prepared to participate in after hours roster as requested
  8. Reasonable recent experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
