An exciting opportunity to join the surgical team in the Theatres Department at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital. You will be working with our Specialist Surgical Team who will provide you with the support and guidance as you continue to develop and master your surgical skills. Our ‘A’ grade rating for JMO Wellbeing, is a result of the collaborative, flexible and supportive environment we provide our Junior Medical Officers.
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan teaching hospital. Patients can access a range of services including coronary care, intensive care, orthopaedics, general medicine, surgical, obstetric, respiratory, rehabilitation, paediatric, maternity and emergency care. The hospital also provides a wide range of outpatient services including allied health, dental and podiatry clinics, child, adolescent and family health, drug and alcohol, health promotion and rehabilitation and aged care. An acute mental health service is co-located at Hornsby Hospital. The new $265 million Stage 2 redevelopment was officially opened in June 2022.

- Experience and qualifications commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role
