- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated an interest in radiation oncology.
- A minimum of two years post-graduate experience (e.g. completed at least Intern and RMO years).
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. With particular reference to: - providing clear direction to/ peers - recording accurate and legible clinical records - discussing medical information/breaking bad news with patients and their families.
- Able to make sound decisions in accordance with level of experience and awareness of limitations and when to seek advice.
- Proven ability to organise, plan and manage competing tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team which include other medical staff, allied health, nursing and administrative staff to ensure the appropriate management of patients.
