We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Physiotherapist to join our Primary Care services.
To be eligible to apply, you must have:
- A Bachelor or Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australia Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience working as a Physiotherapist.
- A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel within NSW for work as required.
The Role
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing advanced, evidenced-based Physiotherapy services to patients within Correctional Centres across NSW. The position will act as the clinical lead for the Justice Health NSW Physiotherapy service and will support the Manger Allied Health, Palliative and Aged Care in physiotherapy service planning and operations.
The Senior Physiotherapist will use high level clinical skills and knowledge to assess and treat patients and will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient health outcomes in a high secure setting. The position will also provide clinical leadership and supervision to Physiotherapy staff and students and participate in relevant policy and decision-making groups.
Our Locations
You will primarily work within the Sydney Metropolitan Region with an occasional requirement to travel to correctional centres across NSW.
- Long Bay Correctional Complex: 14km south of Sydney's central business district.
- Silverwater Correctional Complex: 21km west of Sydney's central business district.
- Francis Greenway Correctional Complex: 5km south of Windsor, Sydney.
