Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinician,
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (Through till October 2026)
Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, Occupational Therapist Level 3, Social Worker Level 3 and Psychologist.
Remuneration: $80,452.00 - $120,680.00 per annum, plus superannuation

If you are an overseas qualified Social Worker, you are required to have your qualifications assessed by the AASW to meet the position criteria.
Where you'll be working
Community Mental Health Team, ESMHS, located at the Maroubra Centre, Maroubra.
Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligible for membership with AASW. Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Psychology (with a minimum four-year degree with a major in Psychology and registration with the Psychologists Board of Australia) and registered with AHPRA . For Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2: registered with AHPRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.
- Extensive experience in mental health clinical and vocational rehabilitation with knowledge of best practice principles and models of practice; and ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group rehabilitation programs
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation, and a strengths based and recovery focused approach in service provision.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels
- Ability to provide in-depth advice, education and supervision to staff to enhance service excellence
- Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel or complex nature
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement and service evaluation processes
- Current class C NSW Drivers Licence
