Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.

Our Security Operations team in Hawkesbury District is growing and is seeking to engage Security Officers. In this position, you will maintain a safe environment for staff, volunteers, contractors, patients and visitors. This includes the provision of high standard of customer service in testing situations. 

Working within the hospital, the successful incumbent will conduct security patrols of building and grounds of the Hawkesbury facility and escort staff and visitors as necessary and deny entry to persons without authority to enter. What you will bring to the role:

  1. Certificate 2 in Security Operations
  2. Effective experience working in a similar role
  3. Demonstrated effective communications skills with the ability to handle a variety of difficult situations
  4. Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  5. Practical knowledge of security equipment including CCTV operations and access control systems
