Selection Criteria
- Tertiary level qualifications in Public Health (PhD, MPH, or similar) or related field and/or demonstrated epidemiology and research experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high quality health related qualitative and/or quantitative research and produce high quality reports, and academic publications.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct, lead, and evaluate research, including previous successful grant applications.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice to senior management on activities and policies to support research.
- Experience in marshalling resources (people, funding, material and/or support) to successfully complete large-scale projects.
- Outstanding verbal and oral communication skills, including oral presentations, written reports, briefings, and publications.
- Previous experience in scientific analysis, either statistical (i.e. high-level skills with R, Stata, etc) or experience with qualitative analysis.
- High level ability to collaborate and work with multidisciplinary teams of professionals both within and outside of health.
