Registered Nurse - Central Intake and Triage
What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) including completion of new graduate RN program and or experience as a registered Nurse.
- Comprehensive understanding of substance use disorders, treatment and harm minimisation principles.
- Demonstrated experience working with people presenting with an acute drug and alcohol problem.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise clinical judgement.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and proven ability to work autonomously.
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.
- Current NSW Drivers license and the willingness to use for work purposes.
