What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in Anaesthetics, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care that supports patients before, during and after anaesthetic procedures, while contributing to a safe and effective perioperative service.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence‑informed anaesthetic nursing care
Deliver safe, timely and culturally appropriate care to diverse patient groups
Collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary team members
Accurately document care using patient records and clinical systems
Support, mentor and guide Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and peers

Essential Requirements
Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Perioperative Nursing Practice and in particular anaesthetic nursing.
Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
