What will you bring to the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualifications in Nursing – Mental Health with recent experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing as a registered nurse (including completion of new graduate programme or equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse), and full registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and mental health nursing assessments and interventions and experience working with people with mental illness.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
- Computer competence and literacy.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
