Hours Per Week: 28 (This position works afternoons and weekends)

What you'll be doing
As a Record Control and Information Release Officer, you’ll ensure patient documentation is processed, stored, and released in line with legislation and hospital procedures.
Prepare, scan, and validate patient records for digital imaging
Maintain electronic tracking systems for accurate record location
Assist in managing hybrid medical records, including filing and retrieval
Process medico-legal requests for information after hours and on weekends
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with legislative requirements

Demonstrated experience in Document Imaging and filing patient records in a hospital setting.
Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload so that you are able to meet set deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to identify errors within the health system and demonstrated skills in reducing errors
Experience in using a client database and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Demonstrated experience working in a large team and autonomously
Demonstrated ability to be able to make independent decisions with consideration to relevant policy and procedure
