What you'll be doing
As a Radiographer (Sonographer), you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services for both clinical and research purposes. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care and contribute to the advancement of maternal-fetal medicine.
In this role you will:
Perform advanced ultrasound examinations with precision and empathy.
Support interventional procedures and fetal therapies.
Mentor and train staff and students in ultrasound techniques.
Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain safety, compliance, and professional standards across the department.

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Graduate diploma in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound or equivalent.
Registration: Current accreditation as a Medical Sonographer with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and Registered.
Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated interest and experience in ultrasound research including evidence of previous relevant completed research activities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate with families in stressful situations.
Demonstrated sound understanding and commitment to high quality patient care.
Demonstrated highly developed ultrasound and general radiography.
