Psychologist- Intellectual Disability Health

- Four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer and full registration as Psychologist with APHRA.
- Experience working in an acute hospital or community health setting as a practising Psychologist in the field of intellectual disability; good liaison and engagement skills with a range of key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge and application of psychological interventions relevant to children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disability and experience writing reports with recommendations for patients.
