About the Opportunity
Drug Health Services (DHS) aims to reduce the harms associated with substance use for individuals, families and communities and to prevent drug misuse. Our Mission is to deliver evidence based and patient centred care in collaboration with other health and non-health partners to improve the health outcomes of individuals, their families and broader community. Services are provided at Canterbury, Concord Repatriation General and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and at Canterbury, Marrickville and Redfern Health Centres. Selected programs offer services in community and via approved outreach arrangements.
In this position, you will be providing pharmacy services and be responsible for the coordination, supervision and further development of clinical pharmacy services for Drug Health Services (DHS) across the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). This will include provision of support to dispensaries, provision of education and medicines information services to patients and other health care professionals and participation as active members of multi-disciplined teams. In addition, this position will support clinical trials and work with shared care projects to develop and maintain systems that engage and support GPs and pharmacists in the management of Drug Health clients.

Ideal Candidate
- Current registered as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently.
- Previous experience working with patients with drug dependencies and or mental health conditions.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable) is preferable.
