Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The Operational Support Officer provides high level organisational support, primarily to the Directors of the Integrated and Community Health (ICH) Clinical Operations and Allied Health & Priority Communities portfolios. The Operational Support Officer will ensure high level administrative responsibilities are undertaken in a professional and timely manner.  

The Operation Support Officer will exhibit leadership, decision-making, conflict management and stakeholder management skills.

Travel across multiple Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) sites is required as necessary

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience providing high level executive support including diary management and preparing executive documents.
  2. Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise requests, manage workloads and meet deadlines
  3. Demonstrated high level communication skills, both verbal and written including attention to detail.
  4. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in business writing including briefs, replying to Ministerials and complaints
  5. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of variety of Microsoft office suite, including electronic records management system (Hewlett Packard Enterprise Content Manager (HPECM) previously known as TRIM/HPRM).
  6. Proven ability to exercise sound judgement in a changing environment, often under tight timelines, high volume, and high-pressure conditions
  7. Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team, follow established processes, respond to feedback, and adapt to continuous quality improvement.
  8. Unrestricted NSW Drivers licence and willingness to travel as needed.
