About us:
The Manning Mental Health Unit provides inpatient care to patients with mental illness and mental health disorders. We are a 20 bed unit and service the Manning region. Our team consist of experience allied health, nursing and medical clinicians. We are supported by fantastic admin staff and hospital service assistants.

The Manning MHIPU team are best described as passionate clinicians who have a great sense of humour.

About the role:
A typical day for you would include working within the multidisciplinary team to formulate and facilitate treatment and care for our consumers. You will spend time engaging patients in meaningful groups alongside your colleagues.

You will have on ground support on the unit but will also be link into our OT network at a district level.

About you:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about their practice and providing excellent care to others. You don’t need to have a huge amount of experience as we will provide you with all the support and training required. Our team really enjoys supporting growth in our peers.

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
