Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Degree in Occupational Therapy
Registration: Current Registration with Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated high level of clinical expertise and knowledge in the assessment and management of clients with complex conditions including experience in palliative care and/or chronic illness across community or hospital settings
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
- Ability to provide clinical support, education and consultation to health professionals in area of specialty
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice and quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to produce written documentation of a high standard
- Current driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD
