About the Role
  
The Nursing Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing/ staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit/ward level.
   
The Nursing Unit Manager Level 2 responsibilities in relation to patient services, ward or unit management and staff management are in excess of those of a Nursing Unit Manager Level  1.  We are looking for someone with experience in Leadership and Management and extensive experience in Perioperative Services with the  knowledge of Day Surgery and Preadmission Services.

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive experience in Perioperative Services with knowledge of Day Surgery and Preadmission Services.
  • Proven clinical management and leadership experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
