What you'll be doing
 
As a member of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Nursing and Midwifery Practice and Workforce Unit, the Nurse Manager Workforce Capacity & Capability will contribute to the organisation’s strategic priorities, including the nursing and midwifery workforce priorities relating to improving capacity and capability.
 
In this position you will:
  • Provide leadership, support, and consultancy for nursing and midwifery projects and strategies.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to enhance the LHD nursing and midwifery workforce capacity.
  • Focus on building the professional capacity of the SESLHD nursing and midwifery workforce.
  • Offer an effective and efficient workforce development consultation service.
  • Support the development of nursing and midwifery managers, unit managers, and staff.
  • Participate in the work of the Nursing and Midwifery Practice and Workforce Unit.
