What you'll be doing
Join our dedicated team at Sydney Breast Screen Services as a Radiographer Level 2 and make a meaningful impact in women’s health. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a supportive, innovative environment where patient care is our top priority. As part of our expert team, you'll use advanced imaging technology to deliver vital breast screening services, ensuring high standards of diagnostic care for our community.
To ensure compliance with the standards of BreastScreen Australia program as contained in the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards (NAS).
Where you'll be working
BreastScreen NSW, part of a well-regarded, statewide public health initiative aimed at reducing the impact of breast cancer through early detection.
BreastScreen NSW operates in diverse, community-focused settings and provides high-quality, accessible breast screening services to women across New South Wales.
This position will be primarily based out of St George Hospital, Kogorah.

Selection Criteria:
- To be considered for the role, applicants must be female. An applicant's gender is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 31 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
- Must hold general registration with the MRPB/AHPRA
- A licence to operate radiation apparatus by the NSW EPA
- Experience in diagnostic and or screening mammography and PACS systems with knowledge of quality assurance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Be able to work as part of a Multidisciplinary team with advanced communication skills
- Class C drivers licence with a willingness to travel to BreastScreen sites within the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Local Health Districts
