About the Opportunity:

Fairfield Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Midwifery Manager to lead our dynamic Women’s and Children’s Services team. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will oversee the daily operations, provide strategic direction, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. As the Midwifery Manager, you will be responsible for managing clinical staff, coordinating patient care, and promoting a collaborative, compassionate environment that aligns with Fairfield Hospital’s commitment to excellence in maternal and child healthcare.

What you'll be doing:

The Midwife Manager participates in or is responsible for the leadership and management of nursing services in a management unit, service, complex function or facility to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and efficient use of resources.

The hospital sits close to public transport (T-Way), Public Schools, a major shopping centre and has an onsite cafeteria. Ample onsite parking is available with only a short walk from the carpark to the hospital.

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
