Fairfield Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Secretary to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in the health sector and a deep understanding of the NSW Hospital Medical Workforce structure. As a Medical Secretary, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's medical departments. This includes providing high-level administrative support to department heads in areas such as Intensive Care, Anaesthetics, General Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Paediatrics, and more. From effective diary management and accurate correspondence to organising meetings and supporting departmental objectives, your work will be instrumental in maintaining excellence across our services.
You will also assist with critical processes such as rostering, payroll management, and travel arrangements for senior medical staff. Your expertise in managing inquiries in a complex and dynamic environment will be crucial in delivering professional and timely support. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who excels at multitasking and is passionate about making a difference in healthcare.
What You'll be Doing
The Medical Administration Administrative Support Officer is responsible for providing an efficient and effective service with regard to the handling of Medical Administration Department enquiries.
This position will provide effective, efficient and high-level Secretarial support to Heads Of Departments for various medical departments throughout the hospital.
