What you'll be doing
Join the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute team in a vital role delivering high-quality, life-changing mammographic services. You'll combine clinical excellence, patient care, and education in a leading breast imaging environment.
Perform advanced breast imaging for early cancer detection
Lead QA testing to ensure equipment excellence & safety
Educate & support radiographers to lift team capability
Travel across sites, bringing care directly to communities
Engage in continuous learning to maintain top credentials

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
License: NSW Environment Protection Agency EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrate expertise through development of protocols, clinical reviews, teaching and delivery of in-service and presentations related to their area of expertise at departmental level and at conferences at national or international level.
2. Registered with AHPRA and has current NSW Radiation Licence.
3. Provide high quality Breast Imaging service that is patient focused, according to the objectives and policies of the BCI.
4. High level customer service skills, and effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative.
6. Responsible for the co-ordination and determine service delivery of the educator/tutor function for undergraduates on clinical placement and MRS undergoing SPP.
