About the opportunity
Health Infrastructure is seeking an experienced engagement leader to shape and elevate relationships with government and industry partners at a strategic level. In this influential role, you will provide trusted advice and hands‑on leadership to deliver coordinated, high‑impact engagement that strengthens collaboration, builds confidence and enhances organisational reputation.

Working closely with senior executives as part of the Communications and Engagement team, you will help shape a clear and compelling narrative aligned to Health Infrastructure’s vision and priorities. You will lead targeted engagement strategies, anticipate emerging issues and external trends, and translate insight into practical advice, messaging and outreach that drives informed decision‑making. You will foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture while embedding best‑practice stakeholder governance. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of NSW’s health infrastructure program, supporting leaders with timely, strategic guidance and influencing outcomes that matter.

This is a fixed term full time opportunity for three years period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

About you
You are a confident and thoughtful engagement leader who can provide timely, well judged advice in complex, fast paced environments. You’re comfortable balancing diverse stakeholder interests, managing competing priorities and deadlines, and adapting your approach as issues evolve. You bring strong awareness of industry trends, sector issues and the broader NSW Government context, with the ability to clearly interpret what these mean for organisational strategy and reputation. Highly adept at navigating matrix structures and politically sensitive settings, you communicate with credibility, discretion and confidence while working within established governance and communication protocols.
