Selection Criteria 

  1. Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of bed management and patient care coordination in inpatient/outpatient and community-based clinical settings.
  2. Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  3. Experience (> 2 years) in running customised training sessions for clinicians that have differing levels of experience in the utilisation of technology.
  4. Experience (> 2 years) in developing implementation plans, processes and tools to support the implementation of complex enterprise systems that impact numerous stakeholder groups.
  5. Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal with the ability to influence and inspire groups of people with a passion for transferring knowledge and skills.
  6. Strong skills in evaluation and ability to independently resolve complex issues raised by end users during and post system implementation.
  7. Relevant educational background with preference for a Bachelor degree in either Nursing or Information Technology.
  8. Proven extensive customer service skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy 
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • This is a temporary role up to 30 June 2025. 
  • Please note the selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role.
  • This position is open to internal NSW Health permanent employees, or temporary employees who have been employed as part of a merit based selection process for more than 3 months. 
    • Ministry of Health staff are part of the Public Service Group and employed under Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (NSW), and are not employees of NSW Health and would not be eligible to apply for internally advertised roles.
