An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Gardener to join the Nepean Gardens & Grounds team on a Permanent Full Time basis.
The successful incumbent, will help provide facility gardening and landscaping service that enables the business to perform its core service in medical services to the public. Your core duties will be to perform general gardening and landscaping activities as directed and to contribute to gardening and landscaping plans and designs.

What you will bring to the role
- Current qualifications as a landscape gardener
- Demonstrated knowledge of current WHS Act and relevant regulations as well as knowledge of current relevant Australian Standards
- Demonstrated experience and ability to perform landscape gardening work and associated physical/manual labouring tasks in a safe manner on the varied NBMLHD facility grounds
- Demonstrated ability to read plans, specifications and interpret drawings, estimate cost, time and materials of landscape gardening works
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and must be able to take oral and written direction from the maintenance management and maintain a co-operative working relationship with management, other trades staff and NBMLHD facility staff
- Possess a valid current NSW Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel where directed
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and email
