What you will do
As an integral member of the SDPR Reporting team, you will:
Provide accurate information about business needs and priorities and adopting contemporary analysis best-practice methodologies and processes.
Gather and analyse business and technical requirements to support solution design and delivery.
Provide expert advice and high-level analysis to support IT projects and initiatives.
Develop business cases aligned with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Support testing, training, and transition activities for new systems.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
About You
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have:
Proven experience in business analysis for reporting systems, BI, or data warehousing, including writing technical specifications and understanding the software development lifecycle.
Health sector experience, with knowledge of administrative and/or clinical workflows and systems like Cerner Millennium or similar.
Strong consultation skills to gather, document, and validate reporting and functional requirements with end users and subject matter experts.
Experience supporting user acceptance testing and training to ensure solutions meet agreed standards.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data and deliver business-focused solutions.
Essential requirements
Experience in business analysis for Reporting Systems and/or Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, with knowledge of the program/software development lifecycle, including documenting business rules and proven ability in writing technical program specifications.
Experience working within the Health sector with a strong understanding of administration and/or clinical processes relevant to hospital and community health services and the associated IT systems utilised such as Cerner Millennium or other health reporting systems.
Demonstrated liaison skills with experience in consulting with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the reporting and functional requirements of their business to ensure successful delivery of end user reports/software.
