What you'll be doing

The Finance team plays a vital role in supporting teams throughout the LHD by assisting with budget planning, managing financial performance, meeting statutory and ministerial reporting obligations, overseeing procurement, contract management, and handling patient revenue functions.
 
Additionally, Finance collaborates closely with key stakeholders across the district to plan and optimise resource allocation and effective usage, aiming to deliver improved outcomes for the communities we serve.
 
The role: 
  • provides expert advice and services on all facets of Financial Policy & Control to Finance Business Partners and Business Leaders across the District. 
  • develops policies, procedures, systems and tools to achieve financial, business and service objectives.
  • plan, coordinate, lead and manage human, financial, material and capital resources to provide a cost effective, high-quality service that meets key performance indicators and financial accountabilities of the Finance Policy & Controls Team.
