Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. What you will bring to the role 

  1. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills applied to producing a range of complex business correspondence and reports.
  2. Highly developed administrative/organisational skills in a demanding environment with competing and changing priorities.
  3. Provision of high level secretariat support to relevant committees including the preparation of agendas, business papers and minute taking that also incorporates managing action items effectively.
  4. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills applied to identifying and resolving service delivery gaps with the ability to present findings in a clear and comprehensive manner.
  5. Demonstrated ability to anticipate and meet the needs of a senior executive without instruction, to exercise initiative and to work unsupervised.
  6. Extensive experience using an electronic records management system such as HPRM.
  7. Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and secretarial support at an Executive level, including a proven ability to operate efficiently in an environment demanding confidentiality and discretion in issues management.
  8. Advanced proficiency in preparing various documentation: memorandums, letters, internal briefings, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.
