Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2: $63.91 - $65.21 per hour

Occupational Therapist Level 4: $61.35 - $62.84 per hour

Social Work Level 4: $61.35 - $62.84 per hour

Dietitian Level 4: $61.35 - $62.84 per hour

Senior Psychologist: $60.12 - $65.14 per hour

Clinical Psychologist: $55.09 - $67.15 per hour

About Us

The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person's needs. 

 

 

The Eating Disorders Coordinator will leads and coordinates eating disorders treatment models and pathways of care for NBMLHD. Is responsible for implementation of the NSW Eating Disorders Service Plan in NBMLHD in collaboration with service managers, senior clinicians and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

 

The key components of this role are Service Development: to drive local development and changes to eating disorder services across inpatient and community settings, Workforce Development: to coordinate training and supervision of local staff in the treatment of people with eating disorders and Clinical Consultation and care provision: to provide care and/or consultation to consumers experiencing an eating disorder.

What you will bring to the role 

  1. Professional qualifications in Clinical Psychology with current registration with AHPRA and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or working towards endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist; Social Worker eligible for AASW, Current Senior Psychologist or eligible for Senior Psychologist grading with general registration with AHPRA, Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA; Dietitian with bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides for full membership of Dietitians Australia; Registered Nurse/Midwife Division One with AHPRA with a minimum five years full time equivalent post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in Mental Health nursing and post graduate qualification in Mental Health or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate
  2. Demonstrated ability to apply evidence based knowledge about eating disorders and their treatment in providing clinical services and consultation for adult, children or adolescent populations.
  3. Demonstrated experience in consultancy multidisciplinary teamwork, and the ability to engage stakeholders from a range of disciplines.
  4. Capacity for planning, implementing, evaluating, reporting and providing advice in clinical service delivery and redesign, involving key stakeholders when needed, including driving innovation and leadership of quality improvement projects.
  5. Demonstrated ability in providing clinical consultation and supervision to other health professionals.
  6. Demonstrated capacity to show initiative, leadership, work independently and think strategically, while maintaining a high level of organisation to manage a complex workload.
  7. Excellent demonstrated communication, interpersonal, documentation and negotiation skills.
  8. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
