Manage referrals. Deliver early intervention. Build safety and recovery for adults impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault within a specialist trauma-informed service.

Remuneration:
· Counsellor Level 1/2, Sexual Assault Level 1/2, Social Worker Level 1/2: $38.51- $54.94 per hour
· Psychologist: $40.57 - $59.38 per hour
Hours Per Week: 24

You will join the IVPRS at Westmead Hospital, a leading tertiary referral hospital in Western Sydney. IVPRS provides strategic leadership, specialist clinical services and capacity building across domestic violence, sexual assault and child protection. Our team is committed, collaborative and deeply values trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.

Essential Criteria:
· Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
· Registration: Eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership.
Selection Criteria:
1. Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor degree) in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership.
2. Demonstrated counselling experience in complex trauma and trauma informed practice within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect setting (e.g. sexual assault, child protection or domestic violence services).
3. Demonstrated assessment, case management and counselling skills with young people and adults.
4. Demonstrated understanding of the inter-related dynamics and effects of sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect and domestic violence and a commitment to integrated models for working with clients who have experienced trauma and abuse.
5. Knowledge and understanding of current policies and legislation relating to domestic violence and other forms of interpersonal violence and knowledge of legal systems involved in domestic violence and sexual assault service provision.
6. Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated capacity to work with in partnership with others.
7. Experience in, or commitment to, working with individuals and families from indigenous backgrounds and/or diverse cultural backgrounds.
8. Current NSW Driver’s License
