Manage, build and lead a specialist Sexual Assault Service delivering trauma-informed care, clinical governance and integrated violence response within a high-demand health setting.

Remuneration:  

·       Clinical Psychologist: $113,617 - $138,482 per annum

·       Counsellor Level 5, Social Worker Level 5: $135,884 - $139,188 per annum

·       Senior Psychologist: $123,974 - $134,338 per annum

Grevillea Cottage forms part of the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS), providing strategic leadership and clinical services across sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection.

What you'll be doing 
As Service Manager, you will provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Sexual Assault Service, ensuring responsive, high-quality and compliant service delivery in line with NSW Health frameworks and policy directions.

·       Lead, supervise and develop specialist counselling staff and students

·       Coordinate complex clinical service delivery for high-risk clients

·       Guide advanced therapeutic interventions and case planning

·       Ensure medico-legal, legislative and governance compliance

·       Drive quality improvement, prevention initiatives and capacity building

Essential Criteria:

·       Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling 

·       Registration: Eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership. 

 

Selection Criteria: 

1.     Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor degree) in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership.

2.     Extensive clinical experience in complex trauma and trauma informed practice within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect setting (e.g. sexual assault, child protection or domestic violence services), with capacity to draw on a wide range of therapeutic models and a commitment to implement integrated models of care.

3.     Management or senior clinical leadership experience within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect setting, with demonstrated capacity to provide line management, supervision, clinical advice and support to clinicians working with complex and vulnerable clients.

4.     Demonstrated high-level understanding of the inter-related dynamics and effects of sexual assault, physical abuse and neglect and domestic violence, along with knowledge and understanding of current policies, legislation and legal systems relating to sexual assault and other forms of inter-personal violence.

5.     Demonstrated networking and negotiation skills, with the capacity to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders.

6.     High-level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, lead quality improvement projects and undertake capacity building within the service and across the LHD.
