About this role
Reporting to the Executive Director for the Centre for Aboriginal Health, this role provides leadership and oversight to drive key partnerships and monitor performance for Aboriginal health across NSW.
The role leads on collaborations with key stakeholders, including the Community Controlled Sector, and overseeing performance for Aboriginal health across Local Health Districts, Specialty Health Networks, and Pillars.
A key function of this role is to cultivate innovation in Aboriginal health through the implementation of state and national strategies and reforms including the NSW Aboriginal Health Plan 2024-2034 and the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.
Leading a strategic and operational team the position acts as a central point for Aboriginal Health Partnerships and Performance within the NSW Health System.
This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $225,628 to $250,574 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health who:
- Are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Have demonstrated equivalent professional experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Possess strong leadership capabilities, a strategic mindset, and senior-level management experience.
- Have proven experience in leading and developing policy and/or service delivery in Aboriginal health executive level.
