As a Dental Assistant within the Inverell Dental Clinic, you will assist in the facilitation of efficient delivery of dental services and operations of the Dental Unit by providing clinical and administrative assistance and support. Close collaboration and open communication are integral, with everyone playing a vital role in the clinic's success. Direct and meaningful interactions with patients are a daily highlight, contributing to a fulfilling work experience. Ongoing support and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided by the Oral Health management team to ensure your success and professional development in this position.
Where you'll be working
The Inverell Dental Clinic is open 5 days a week from 8.00am to 4.30pm and located within the hospital facility, it provides high-quality dental care for adults and children in Inverell and the surrounding regions. Working in a small dental clinic like Inverell Dental Clinic offers a unique and enriching professional environment characterized by close-knit teamwork, a supportive atmosphere, and a patient-centred approach.
About You
The suitable applicant will hold Certificate III in dental assisting, or will be an unqualified but experienced Dental Assistant skilled in the provision of a high level of clinical dental assistance within prescribed standards of infection control and patient safety. You will also have a professional and compassionate attitude and well-developed oral and written communication skills that are utilised to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your competence in performing and assisting with oral health care procedures and ability work effectively and efficiently in a team setting will be the key to your success in this position.
