About the role

The Safeguards Team is a new dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) resource providing innovative and best practice care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 years experiencing acute mental health distress. Providing clinical leadership to CAMHS clinicians across NNSW LHD in the provision of evidence based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues. Providing clinical psychology services within the Safeguard Service team which is community based and will provide rapid, mobile, intensive and flexible short-term delivery of skilled evidence-based interventions to resolve mental health crisis both in the community and acute facilities.
