Clinical Nurse Educator Grade 2 - Prince of Wales Hospital

Selection Criteria

1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. A post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field (or working towards), or 3 years work experience in the scrub/scout speciality.
3. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
4. Demonstrated clinical teaching and learning and facilitation skills in the health care environment (adult learning principles).
5. Demonstrated understanding of competency-based assessment with experience in education / clinical teaching and developing clinical resources based on adult learning principles.
6. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
7. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
8. Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems.
