About the role


As a CWU Aboriginal Consultant Officer, you will be joining a team of Child Protection and Child Wellbeing experts who conduct Child Protection and Wellbeing risk appraisals and aim to support families early, to prevent escalation into the statutory system.   

You will be providing specialised cultural consultancy advice that promotes and advocates Aboriginal community engagement for the coordination of integrated services for Aboriginal families and children across Health and community Services. 

Also assisting and advising NSW Health workers how to respond to vulnerable children, young people and families that they come into contact with during their work.
