About the role


As a CWU Assessment Officer, you will be joining a team of Child Protection and Wellbeing experts who conduct Child Protection and Wellbeing risk appraisals as well as assist and advise NSW Health workers to respond to vulnerable children, young people and families they come into contact with during their work.  The Child Wellbeing Unit aims to support families early to prevent escalation into the statutory system.

The Western Child Wellbeing Unit is located in Dubbo’s CBD.  Consideration will be given, dependent on the service needs, to other locations with initial attendance at the Dubbo Office for your training period and then regular team meeting attendance.
