Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse eager to lead and inspire a team dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and families? This is your opportunity to make a real difference as a Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) in our Universal Team for Child & Family Health.
As the NUM, you'll take charge of coordinating patient services, unit management, and nursing staff while fostering a culture of quality, safety, and collaboration. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, efficient resource management, and a positive environment for staff and patients alike.
About You
- You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You have Extensive recent post registration clinical experience and knowledge of current nursing and midwifery issues in Child and Family Health.
- You bring strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to inspire, guide, and support a clinical team in delivering exceptional care.
- You are dedicated to patient-focused care, clinical governance, and quality improvement, with demonstrated expertise in implementing evidence-based practices and innovative care models.
- You possess solid experience in budget management, financial performance monitoring, and effective communication, with advanced computer literacy in Microsoft applications and roster systems.
