This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

We are currently seeking Clinical/Health Psychologist to join our dedicated Community Allied Health (CAH) team, that provides service to a broad and diverse range of clients, including (but not limited to) those with neurological conditions, age related functional difficulties, progressive conditions and chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Respiratory, Heart Failure and Cardiac diseases


About You:

  • Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Post graduate qualification in either Clinical or Health Psychology or working towards same
  • Genuine desire to make a difference in the community.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological services.
  • Driven by a commitment to professional growth and collaborative teamwork.


About the Role:

  • Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary Allied Health team at Community Allied Health (CAH).
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to adults facing diverse health challenges.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions (CBT and other modalities).
  • Provide individual and group-based therapy and education sessions in community centers, clinics, and home settings.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of services.
  • Work across multiple sites within the CCLHD, broadening experience.
  • Offer hours that can work around your private practice.
  • Receive support whilst completing clinical training.
