We are looking for a call-centre superstar to join the team on a casual basis. Responsible for a high-level of customer service, answering calls, effective time management and the ability to multitask is important. Previous experience within a call-centre environment is highly advantageous!

You will have attention to detail and eager to continually learn and develop your skills and knowledge. Experience working in a busy call centre/switchboard or busy administrative role with a high turnover of calls would be desirable.

About the opportunity:
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Health Care Interpreter Service. working in a dynamic call centre team to ensure a high standard of service delivery is maintained. You will provide administrative and clerical services and display high quality telephone and data entry skills to support the efficient functioning of the Health Care Interpreter Service. You will provide great customer service to healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders.
Some day-to-day tasks may include, however not limited to:
- Provision of excellent customer service to health professionals within NSW Health and other external agencies/stakeholders
- Allocating interpreter bookings to staff and sessional interpreters
- Respond to telephone and electronic correspondence from internal and external stakeholders
- Provide administrative support to the Multicultural and Refugee Health Service including ordering, invoicing and other related tasks as required
About our team:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic multifaceted team in Health Care Interpreters Service (HCIS) within the Multicultural and Refugee Health Care Service. The M&RHS is comprised of two Refugee Health Teams in Newcastle and Armidale, Multicultural Health Liaison Officers, Staff and Sessional interpreters and the booking office Administrative Officers. You will work with all members within these teams who work closely and collaboratively for a high standard of service delivery.
