Allied Health Professional (Level 1/2): $1,359.64 - $1,939.70

Registered Nurse: $1,342.54 - $1,884.90

Where you'll be working
Across the Northern Sydney Local Health District but based at ACAT site at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital

What you'll be doing
Joining the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) ACAT will mean you will be part of a dynamic team with various sites providing Aged Care Assessment to NSLHD. Excellent education and clinical supervision is provided on an ongoing basis. The team will welcome applications from all those with strong interest and passion for working with older persons and who want to be part of an experienced friendly team of Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists (PTs), Social Workers (SWs) and Registered Nurses (RNs). Applicants need to have a strong commitment to working to a high standard and within very tight time frames

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications as per clinical discipline (nursing, occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy), with full AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work. Current NSW drivers licence.
  2. Demonstrated discipline specific clinical experience working in relevant aged care settings and proven ability to undertake comprehensive assessments, formulate, and implement appropriate care plans for older people.
  3. Have detailed knowledge of My Aged Care, related aged care programs and services with proven ability to use this knowledge to assess and support both routine and complex aged care presentations.
